Daniela Collection
The new Antica Murrina Spring/Summer
2008 Collection has been created from the transparency and
shine of glass. Very sophisticated fashion jewellery that is
very finely worked and decorated by hand. A unique original
combination of innovative design and craftsmanship.
Iconic sugary effect
The small beads of Murano glass look like delicious sweets
with the sugary effect finish. Delicate shades and purposely
irregular shapes create the Sweet line, available in
amethyst, powder pink and green or steel-gold.
Metal bars are alternated with the beads to create an
unusual chromatic effect for the Candy necklace. Glass
circles and precious crystals decorate the thong on the
Sugar pendant.
Ethnic fascination
Contrasting colour designs given by a special grinding
process distinguish the Ethnic line. Anallergic hammered
metal rings and shiny strass embellish the jewels. A central
maxi bead in Murano glass personalises the Dakota
necklace, while the Indiana choker highlights the
lightness of its forms. Sophisticated and important the long
Alabama version.
Sensual transparency
The glass beads look like ice cubes in the Kiruna,
Alaska and Bridal series. Sinuous shapes and
original veining all exalt the transparent glass, and
refined metal rings, precious crystals and gilded rhodium
plated leaves all make each model unique. The predominating
colours are steel, powder pink and amber.
Cheerful colours
The long necklace with glass beads and irregular metal bars
is very effective in the Manhattan line. It is
available in two colour variations. Pop inspiration for the
multicolour elegant version in shades of gold, steel and
copper. A single central bead is held by leather thongs on
the Soho choker.
Playing with shapes
Gritty line and irregular shapes for the Party and
Cocktail models, Choker or long versions with an
original half-moon shape metal chain alternated with smoky
glass beads in the same shape. Crystal and leather thongs
distinguish the Spritz pendant necklace.
Spring-summer 2008 campaign
Sinuous forms and intangible plays of light and shade to
highlight the essence of the materials, with chromatic and
luminous depths that create the perfect setting for the
jewels.
The leit motif is white which is skilfully interpreted by
the photographer Fabio Santagiuliana with very intense and
sophisticated pictures, where we fully perceive the idea of
timeless elegance and of a refined essential woman.
The sense of harmony is the dominating factor throughout
the Antica Murrina campaign, a fine thread that unites
seemingly different inspirations. Delicate pastel shades and
pop colours, shapes inspired by the gypsy world with other
strict geometric forms underlined by the metal settings.
The evanescent fascination of glass and precious
sparkling crystal all create new exciting emotions. Wearing
an Antica Murrina jewel expresses personality and taste for
unusual and distinctive details.
